Meet Coach Henry

Basketball saved my life. I poured everything I had into the game when I didn’t have anywhere else to turn. My basketball journey has made it clear what kind of a coach I strive to be. I know what I needed when I was the age of the youth we work with. I needed the structure, the community, the competition. I needed a sanctuary.

Professionally I have 13 years of working experience with youth in different settings - the outdoors, community programs, and schools, which has given me needed perspective from different approaches and needs. I’ve been a coach for 10 years, ranging from the high school level, AAU, various combines and camps, and community programs. My coaching style, especially in program settings, is to hold the importance of improving as people on an equal level as improving as basketball players.
